Simple things, beginning of new knowledge.

I entered the room at 9:00 AM and they are reading a Filipino book. I noticed that they are good in reading Tagalog. The next subject was English and the pupils tried they`re best to participate aiming to practice second language, I think it is a good start for them.
My cooperating teacher is still eager and still her passion of teaching. I can see in her the perseverance of making her pupils understand and cooperate in their discussion, utilizing her own technique and strategies. There`s something she told me that I can`t forget. " Ang mga bata ngayon may kanya-kanya retention na kung saan may matatandaan sila sa pinag-aralan at may matutuhan."
This was another day of learning. Simple things that will be the beginning of a new knowledge. These basis is the some methods of my growing confidence to competence.
In this observation, I learned some methods on how to handle and deal with pupils having different personalities.

Second day of observation

Last January 26, is my second day of observation. I love and fond of watching,talking, with them. I remember my childhood and I actually see my self in them.
My cooperating teacher is Mrs. Catalina Reyes, according to her, pupils today have various manner manifested by their actions, speech and way of studying compared to late generation, and I began to reminiscing when i was in Grade 2, pupils then were afraid of teacher, and when the teacher gave a mad look to student, student already knew what it means and tend to behave.
They had a examination on this day, this is why I ended up my observation that morning.

Family day

This was our first day of observation in FS2. Luckily, I was about to celebrate with them the school family day(Don Emilio Salumbides School). In this activity I want to see the importance of having this in school, in parents and teacher. While Im There, I saw different expressions on the faces who were there to attend the special celebration.
I`m still assigned in Grade2 pupil, section 2. Since they`re the same pupils whom I observed last sem (FS1) I`m glad seeing them again. I tried to entertained them and enjoyed being part of the celebration.
The family day is one of the activities that should not be omitted in every schools. It is relevant because by means of this, teachers, students, and parents well develop closeness, bonding and serves as time for parents to ask the performance of their children to the teachers.
